I am a Pukekohe girl, now residing in Papakura. I am nearly 2 years post op VGS. I have osteoarthritis in my knees & hip, that’s how I qualified for public funded surgery. I’ve been overweight past 19 years or so, having tried many ways to lose weight.

I am all for supporting people in their choice of surgery and beyond, pre & post, as I had very little support going into surgery.
I have met with many pre surgery, and had messages come from people, from all walks of life.
